Greetings everyone! I hope that you are looking forward to the release of our show. Tonight, we will be at the VooDoo Lounge in District 0. Come along and you can meet the cast! I will be there, of course. So will my wonderful co-stars. We are looking forward to seeing you when the show opens. And I hear there is very good food and drinks at this location. So, please come!

Camera opens up on Yamya in her makeup, looking far more 'plain' than usual. She is chipper, however, and waves happily at the camera. Hello, everyone! I wonder if you have missed YaYa. I have missed speaking with all of you. But we have been so busy. You might wonder if she has been busy, considering that her show never aired on Wednesday, March 31st. No! We got pulled. Maybe you really liked that show "Puppy Fashion Show" that got aired instead? We all love puppies, right? She grins at the camera, but there is obviously some agitation there But no worries! We are not gone forever. You see, the show has been moved from Wednesday to Friday. Now we will be airing on Friday, April 16th! She claps enthusiastically, beaming And this time, we are told that there will be no more changes. So, I leave you with this! It is a clip from the first episode. Please watch it, and show you friends, yes? Because this is going to be quite a wonderful show, really top notch. I promise! Okay, goodbye! I will see you soon!

In the clip you see a woman, Yamya's character in a dark bedroom with her roommate, Lei's character, talking about selling her wedding ring to pay for the rent. Then it cuts to her almost being hit by a speeding taxi as she hurries out of a laundromat, a pile of laundry in a basket in her arms. She falls and twists her ankle and drops the laundry, a handsome Indian man helps her up and introduces himself as Rajesh, and she introduces herself as Rupa. Cut to him helping her walk as she goes to a pawn shop and then tries to sell her ring. Rajesh stops her and then it cuts to her saying they need a new roommate to pay for the increase in rent, and he says he wants to see the room. It cuts again to Rupa struggling to clean the apartment with a little girl, apparently her daughter, helping, while Rajesh looks in, surprised, because the apartment is dilapidated and stuffed to the brim. "How many people live here?" he asks. "Four," she says quietly. "Five, if you want to." Fade to black.

Goodness, everything is happening so fast! My god, but I have been so very, very busy. I hope you are not angry at me for being so neglectful. But, my god. I have had so much work to do these past weeks. The show is starting very soon, and I am really, really looking forward to it.
So, if you have not been following my blog, yes, the premier is on March 31st. It has been very good, very rewarding to work on this television show. It was a long time since I have been in front of the camera, except for this one. She flips a hand in the air and then tosses her hair But now, I am hoping that everyone finds this show to be very exciting, and very interesting even.
In conclusion, yes! You must make sure that you watch the show. And there are many commercials right now. I feel as though I look so different as Rupa, but also she reminds me of a role I played in Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, so I really enjoy revisiting it. But still, I feel like Rupa has so many interesting things about her life, that I cannot exactly relate to. But that is the joy of acting, I can be so many different people.
Anyway! She grabs the camera and points it out the window at the dreary looking sky Someone please, please tell me that it will get warmer soon! My god, it's too cold. Right now I am really missing New Orleans, you know?
Points the camera back at herself But now, I think I need to go. Time to look over my lines again so that I can make sure I play this role super perfect! Holds up a hand with a thumb sticking up Right?
